Washington & Jefferson senior forward
Blair Cotton, an Oakland Catholic High School graduate, scored a career-high 16 points during the Presidents’ 83-64 loss to Thomas More last Saturday.
Cotton made 6-of-10 shots from the field, including four 3-pointers, as she surpassed her previous career best of 15 set last season against Penn State Beaver. She also led the team with seven rebounds.
Cotton is shooting 30.2 percent (19-for-63) from beyond the arc, ranking her 14th in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference. She has appeared in all 19 games and is the team’s third-leading scorer at 7.3 points per game, while also averaging 4.1 rebounds per game.
